Join us Sunday, October 11th for the Singapore Grand Prix, with doors opening at 6:30am ahead of the 7:00am race start.
Few races on the F1 calendar look quite like Singapore. The Marina Bay Street Circuit winds its way through the heart of the city beneath thousands of lights, with the Singapore skyline providing one of the most recognizable backdrops in motorsports. But the scenery hides one of the toughest challenges of the season.
The combination of tight corners, unforgiving walls, intense heat and humidity, and a race that traditionally runs close to the two-hour limit makes Singapore a serious test for both drivers and machines. There’s little room for error, Safety Cars can quickly turn strategy upside down, and one mistake can completely change the complexion of the race.
And with the Malaysian Grand Prix still to come before we arrive in Singapore, we don’t yet know exactly what the championship picture will look like when the lights come on at Marina Bay. Will someone arrive carrying momentum from Malaysia? Will the championship battle tighten up? Or will Singapore’s demanding streets throw another curveball into the season?
Whatever happens, this is one worth getting up early for.
