What: Formula 1 Mexico City Grand Prix — Live Race Screening

When: Sunday, November 1st — Race starts at 2:00pm

Before we get to Mexico, though, there’s some unfinished business in Texas. The championship heads to Austin with Kimi Antonelli holding a commanding 102-point advantage over George Russell, and Kimi will have his first mathematical opportunity to wrap up the 2026 World Championship at the United States Grand Prix.

Whether the championship is settled in Austin or the fight carries on to Mexico, the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez always provides an incredible backdrop for Formula 1. At more than 7,000 feet above sea level, the thin Mexico City air creates a unique challenge for the cars, while the run through the packed Foro Sol stadium section produces one of the best atmospheres anywhere on the F1 calendar. The 71-lap race has a way of delivering plenty of action before the field reaches that stadium for the final time.

And for once, you don’t need to set an alarm before sunrise!

There’s no formal early-morning door time for this one. Instead, we encourage everyone to get to Fat Pants well before the 2:00pm start, grab a bite to eat, order a brew and hang out with the Twin Cities F1 Club crew before we settle in for the race.

Come hungry, grab a beer and spend your Sunday afternoon watching Formula 1 with fellow fans from around the Twin Cities.
